The Sirus light source has been designed to provide the best night time vision with low energy consumption. At night the human eye adapts to very low light levels and can still see clearly. The reason for this is that at low light levels the human eye uses different parts of the retina (rods) which are highly sensitive to low light levels. This phenomenon is called scotopic vision and can be experienced on a clear moonlit night when light levels are very low but all objects can be
seen clearly.
The light spectrum of the Sirius lamp has been designed using the above in mind and the philosophy that it sight which is important and not just light!
